Last night I had the privilege of seeing the 2011 remake John le Carré’s fantastic story Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. I found the movie most most enjoyable with plenty of turns and twists and, even at time, humor – though I seemed to be the only one in the theater laughing.  I think Gary Oldman did a wonderful job as George Smiley and I particularly loved the unexpected treat of Benedict Cumberbatch making an appearance (if you haven’t seen the BBC’s new series Sherlock, I highly recommend you check it out).
